How to Find the Apple (Private Relay) Email Linked to Your Tunder Account

3 min readUpdated October 28, 2026

Find the private (Private Relay) address Apple created for your Tunder account.

When you sign up for Tunder with “Sign in with Apple”, Apple may create a private address like xxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com. It hides your real address and acts as a relay: Apple then forwards the emails to your personal inbox.

This article helps you find that address, for example to receive a PIN code reset email or an invoice.

The easiest way: see it in the Tunder app

The app shows the address of the account you are signed in with.

  1. Open the settings

Tap the menu icon ☰, then Settings, General tab.

  2. Read the “My account” row

The account's address is written under “My account”. Tap it to open the “My account” page.

    • The logo next to the address shows the sign-in method: Apple or Google.
    • Copy the address: tap the address row, the “Email copied” message confirms the copy.

On iPhone or iPad

These screens are Apple's. Their names may vary a little depending on the iOS version.

  1. Open Settings

Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then iCloud.

  2. Tap “Hide My Email”

A list of addresses appears. Look for Tunder, then tap Tunder.

  3. Read the address

The address used by Tunder is displayed. It looks like xxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com.

    • Another path: Settings, your name, “Password & Security”, “Sign in with Apple” (or “Apps Using Your Apple ID”), then Tunder. The private address is under “This app received”.

On Mac

These screens are Apple's. Their names may vary a little depending on the macOS version.

  1. Open System Settings

Click your Apple ID, then iCloud.

  2. Click “Hide My Email”

Select Tunder in the list: the associated Private Relay address appears.

What this address receives

  • Tunder's emails

Everything Tunder sends to your account: payment confirmations, invoices, information about your subscription, and the PIN code reset email. Apple then forwards them to your personal address, the one linked to your Apple ID.

  • How long it stays active

The address is created by Apple when you sign up. It stays active unless you turn it off yourself.

Tip. If you stop receiving Tunder's emails, check in Apple's settings that the Private Relay address is still active and that forwarding has not been interrupted.

Frequently asked questions

I'm not getting my PIN code reset email. What can I do?
The email goes to the account administrator's address. If the account was created with “Sign in with Apple”, it may be the private address: open the inbox linked to your Apple ID, and check your spam folder too.
Why does my address look like xxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com?
Because you chose to hide your address when you signed in with Apple. Apple created a relay address, which forwards messages to your real inbox.
I no longer receive any email from Tunder. Why?
The Private Relay address may have been turned off, or forwarding may have been interrupted. Check in Apple's settings (Settings, your Apple ID, iCloud, “Hide My Email”).
How can I see my account's address without going through Apple?
In the app: menu ☰, Settings, General tab, “My account”. The address is written there, and a tap copies it.
My account is signed in with Google: is it the same thing?
No. The private Apple address only exists with “Sign in with Apple”. With Google, the app shows your Google account's address, with the Google logo, in “My account”.
