Organize your items in alphabetical order
Sort your items alphabetically, or reorder them by hand on the sales screen.
On the sales screen, you choose the order in which your items appear: alphabetical, or in any order you like.
This setting is only available in the app. It works the same way for your items, your categories, your discounts and the items of a category.
Sort alphabetically
Only in the Tunder app, on a phone or tablet.
Open the sales screen
Tap the menu icon ☰ at the top left, then Sell. Open the tab of the list to sort: Items, Categories or Discounts.
- The items of a category: open the Categories tab, then tap the category.
Tap the sort icon
It is at the top right of the list, next to the icon that changes the display. The “Reorder items” page opens (“Reorder categories” or “Reorder discounts” depending on the list).
- Empty list: the icon opens nothing while there is nothing to arrange.
Tap “Sort by alphabetical order”
The button is at the top of the list.
- It only appears if you have already arranged the list by hand. If it is missing, the list is already sorted alphabetically.
Confirm
A window warns you: “This action will reset your custom display. You will be able to reorganize the list at any time afterward.” Tap “Sort by alphabetical order”, or “Cancel” to give up.
Tap OK
Confirm at the top right to save: the “Items reordered” message (or “Categories reordered”, “Discounts reordered”) confirms the sort.
- Without OK, the order does not change.
Reorder by hand
Only in the Tunder app. Handy to put your best sellers first.
Open the reorder page
As above: menu ☰, Sell, the list's tab, then the sort icon at the top right.
Drag an element
Each row has a handle on the right. Hold it and drag the row up or down to its new place.
Tap OK
Confirm at the top right: the “Items reordered” message confirms the new order, which you find on the sales screen.
- No change: if you moved nothing, the page closes with no message.
- You can go back to alphabetical order at any time, with the “Sort by alphabetical order” button.
Tip. Each list has its own order: items, categories, discounts, and the items of each category. Reordering one does not change the others.
