Create and manage multiple shops
Create several shops, switch between them, duplicate them or archive one.
Tunder lets you create several shops and switch between them easily. You can also duplicate an existing shop, or hide one from your list.
Pick the app or the back-office (on a computer) below for each action.
What to know before you start
Shops are independent
Sales, revenue, users, devices and settings are not shared between shops. The revenue of one shop is never mixed with another's.
A Premium feature
Premium lets you create an unlimited number of shops, with independent catalogs, sales and devices. A free account keeps the shop it has chosen: opening another one shows the Premium offer.
Reserved for the administrator
To create other shops, sign in with the account administrator's email address. A user can only switch shops if their role allows it (“Switch shop” box in the role's permissions).
Create a shop from the app
The screens below are from the Tunder app on a phone or tablet.
Open the menu and tap your shop's name
Tap the menu icon ☰, then your shop's name at the bottom of the screen (for example Bakery). The “My shops” screen opens.
Tap the + button
It is at the bottom right of the “My shops” screen.
Choose “Create a shop”
You create an empty shop, from scratch: no sales, no items, no categories. Tunder asks for its name and its business category.
- When it is done: Tunder shows “Shop created” and opens the new shop.
- Each shop is completely independent, with its own sales, items and users.
Duplicate a shop from the app
Only in the app. Handy if you are opening a second location similar to the first.
Open “My shops”, then tap +
Menu ☰, the shop name at the bottom of the screen, then the + button at the bottom right.
Choose “Duplicate a shop”
Tunder asks which shop you want to duplicate. Pick it, then tap “Continue”.
- What is copied: your items, your categories and your discounts.
- What is not copied: sales. After that, the new shop can be edited independently from the first.
Switch shops from the app
You can switch shops at any time, if you have access to several shops.
Open “My shops”
Tap the menu icon ☰, then the shop's name at the bottom of the screen. Another way: Settings, “My shop”, then “Switch shop”.
Choose the shop you want
The checkmark shows the active shop. The switch is instant: Tunder shows “Shop change completed”.
- If you don't see the sales you expect: check that you are in the right shop and that demo mode is off (in demo mode, only demo sales are shown).
Hide a shop from the app
To hide a shop without deleting it.
Tap the pencil
In “My shops”, tap the edit (pencil) icon at the top right. The “Shop visibility” screen opens.
Turn off the shop to hide, then tap OK
The shop is removed from your visible list. You can turn it back on at any time from the same screen.
Create a shop from the back-office
The back-office is at admin.tunder.co. Sign in with the administrator account.
Open “Manage shops”
At the bottom of the left menu, click your shop's name: the list of your shops opens, with “Manage shops” at the very bottom. The “My shops” page appears.
Click “Add shop”
The creation flow opens full screen: Tunder asks for the shop's name and its business category. The new shop then opens on Items.
- Without a Premium subscription: “Add shop” opens the Premium offer.
- Duplicate a shop: this option does not exist in the back-office, only in the app (see below).
Switch shops from the back-office
You can switch shops at any time, from any page.
Open the shop selector
At the bottom of the left menu, click the current shop's name, then the shop you want. Every page reloads on that shop.
- Another way: on the “My shops” page, click the shop's row. The open shop carries the “Selected” label.
- Archived shops do not appear in the selector: they stay in “My shops”.
Archive a shop from the back-office
The back-office calls “archive” what the app calls “hide”.
Open the shop's ⋮ menu
In “My shops”, click ⋮ at the right of the row, then “Archive”.
- Several at once: tick the shops, then click “Archive” in the action bar.
- At least one active shop: the last active shop cannot be archived (“Keep at least one active shop”).
Confirm
Tunder asks “Archive [name]?”: click “Archive”. The shop disappears from the selector; its sales, catalog and settings are kept.
- To bring it back: choose the “Archived shops” filter, then “Unarchive” in the row's ⋮ menu.
